Meet the Tutors

​Arjun Yogaratnam

Arjun is a passionate educator and incoming medical student at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Originally from Frisco, TX, Arjun has over five years of experience tutoring students from elementary through college levels. He graduated with Honors from Johns Hopkins University with a B.S., double majoring in Molecular & Cellular Biology and Applied Mathematics & Statistics with a minor in Space Science and Engineering. After beginning his journey as a math tutor in high school, he quickly expanded to all things STEM in college. Whether it's learning the basics of adding numbers or the complexity of mechanisms in Organic Chemistry, Arjun appreciates the process of helping students find their way to academic mastery. Arjun also has a great deal of experience advising and preparing students applying to college and medical school. From admissions tests to essay revisions, Arjun will be there to help you no matter what you may need.

Sandy Wong

​Sandy graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University with a B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology, along with double minors in Psychology and Entrepreneurship & Management. Originally from New York City, she has over four years of tutoring experience, working with a variety of organizations since high school and serving as a chemistry tutor at Hopkins. In addition to academic tutoring, Sandy has provided college advising, with a special focus on supporting students from disadvantaged backgrounds. She is deeply passionate about helping students succeed and reach their full academic potential. Sandy is now preparing to begin medical school.
